EXPLANATION
OF THIS PROJECT: For those of you who are not familiar with "The
Playmate Data Sheet" from the centerfold of Playboy magazine
this is a parody. Over the last year I have tried to do about one
per month (with the Summer/Fall getting condensed). I have always
thought of the Playmate data sheet as vital to the experience of Playboy.
It gives the reader just enough fuel, if totally ridiculous fuel,
for a fully fleshed fantasy of this women you are looking at and gives
the autoeroticist just the extra bit. The questions are silly and
I hope I have made that aspect clear, as most of the questions I used
were from real and current Playboy magazines. The data sheet also
never has any nudity and this I liked because it works on a mental
construction of the playmate beyond the image of her naked body (as
I am more than my naked body, so are they). Also I find Playboy a
good example of the "progress" of culture. Playboy has always
attempted to place itself with a soft-core audience and be for a middle
to upper-middle class reader. As a result it is really tame compared
to the other porn magazines and really more intelligent than other
men's magazines, i.e., Maxim, Stuff and so on. This, by the way, is
also a demographic who buy art. Anyway, this is the last one (or the
first if you work backwards as the web order), both because it is
time for a change, it marks the 50th anniversary of Playboy, and I
have been a victim of identity theft. Yeah, someone tried to steal
my identity, so just remember "You ain't me!"*
